BMT Ranking

Ballman Tour Points (BMT) determine Ballman's world ranking.

This classification determines the tournaments which the Ballman can access.

To move up in the ranking, you have to win matches; each match won in a tournament earns BMT points. The higher the tournament, the more BMT points are at stake.

The BMT ranking is a rolling ranking calculated on the results of the last 52 weeks.

It is updated every Monday morning.

📈 Level capping

It may happen that Ballman players of different levels compete during an NFT OS.

For example, a level 60 Ballman, who has been inactive for several months and dropped in the world ranking beyond the 10,000th place, can participate in an NFT OS 50.

In this case, his level will be lowered to level 40 for the duration of the tournament: his characteristics will temporarily be those of a level 40 Ballman.

This capping system makes it possible to avoid confrontations that are too unbalanced.

🏆 Grand Slam

A Grand Slam tournament is organized from April 2023, with a prize money of $25,000. It is split into several phases:

  • Pre-qualifiers: 8-player tournaments. Each winner of a pre-qualifying tournament obtains a place for the Qualifiers. Players will be able to participate in as many pre-qualifications as they wish, and therefore accumulate qualifying tickets

  • Qualifiers: 100 tournaments each offering a ticket to the final draw for the winner

  • Final draw: the 100 qualifiers + 28 wild cards
